Delete your account and data

1. Open the Memowrist phone app.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Tap “Delete my account”.

This removes your caregiver account.

Only the main caregiver can do this.

1. Open the Memowrist phone app.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Tap “Delete all data about [wearer’s name]”.

This deletes the wearer’s record and everything linked to it. It also unlinks the watch.

You do not need the app. You can ask us by email.

1. Email [email protected].
2. Include your name and phone number as you typed them in the app.
3. Include the wearer’s nickname.
4. Tell us what to delete: your own account, or all data about the wearer.

We will delete the data within 14 days and reply to confirm. We may call or message the phone number you gave us first, to check the request is really from you.

Email a deletion request

• Our database host keeps automatic backups for a short time. Deleted data leaves these backups within about 7 days.
• Old records are also deleted automatically every day. This includes alerts, chat summaries and other records that are past their time limit. See how long we keep data.
• If the voice companion was used, OpenAI may keep the voice and conversation data for up to 30 days to check for abuse. Then OpenAI deletes it.
