Terms of use

Memowrist has two apps:

• A watch app for Wear OS watches. It is worn by an older person, often someone living with dementia. We call them the wearer.
• A phone app for family caregivers.

The watch talks to our cloud over the internet. It uses home Wi-Fi, or the internet of a phone that the watch is connected to.

• You must be 18 or older.
• Memowrist is for adult caregivers and the adults they care for. It is not for children.
• If you set up the watch, you confirm that you have the wearer’s consent, or that you are allowed to act for the wearer.

Alerts depend on:

• the internet connection
• the watch’s battery
• the watch being worn

So alerts can be delayed. Sometimes they may not arrive at all. Please do not rely on Memowrist as the only way to keep someone safe.

You are responsible for the emergency contacts and medication details you enter. Please check that they are correct, and keep them up to date.

• The AI voice companion can make mistakes.
• It is not medical, legal or financial advice.
• If it gives a bad reply, please report it in the app, or email [email protected].

Please do not misuse Memowrist. For example, do not:

• try to break or overload the service
• try to get into data that is not yours
• use Memowrist to harm or harass anyone

We may change Memowrist, or stop it. If we do, we will tell users.

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page.

We cannot promise that Memowrist will always work, or work without mistakes. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for loss or harm caused by alerts that are late or do not arrive, or by mistakes the AI makes. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the law that cannot be taken away.

The laws of Singapore apply to these terms.
